How to Disable Blocked Software for Geolocation (Mac & Windows)
To ensure your location can be accurately verified, certain software—such as VPNs, remote desktop tools, or proxy services—must be disabled or removed before accessing the site. These programs can interfere with the geolocation process and prevent you from playing.
General Tips
• Avoid using public Wi-Fi or corporate networks.
• Make sure your device’s Wi-Fi is enabled (even if using a wired connection).
• If you're still seeing location errors, check that no restricted software is running in the background.
For Mac Users
Some apps (like TeamViewer, LogMeIn, or Apple Remote Desktop) may continue running in the background.
To check and close them:
• Open Activity Monitor from:
Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor
• Look for remote or VPN-related apps.
• Select the app and click the X to quit it.
To fully remove apps:
• Open Applications.
• Right-click the app and select Move to Trash.
• Empty Trash and restart your device.
For Windows Users
• Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
• Look for apps like VPNs, TeamViewer, LogMeIn, or GoToMyPC.
• Right-click the program and select End Task.
To uninstall apps completely:
• Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program.
• Find the VPN or remote software in the list.
• Click Uninstall and follow the prompts.
• Restart your computer afterward.
